PeopleTec is currently seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

PeopleTec is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to support the PEO M&S STORM PO SW Division. Candidate must possess SW engineering expertise understanding the SDLC lifecycle and Agile practices.

Responsibilities include managing software projects to include:

• Software reviews

• Support agile events (sprint reviews, backlog grooming, sprint demonstrations, etc.)

• Azure DevOps experience

• DevSecOps project support

• Testing support (V&V)

• Candidate is expected to support all project milestone reviews

• Documentation reviews

• Software code reviews

• Tracking of contract deliverables

• Manage cost, schedule, and performance

• Tracking project metrics

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

• Desired project management expertise

• Candidate must be a team player and willing to work across multiple teams

• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Develop and brief project presentations and status

• Travel: 10 %
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

• BS degree, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Minimum 16 years experience

• BS degree Computer Science or equivalent
