Job Details for 1st Shift Quality Control :

• Schedule : Monday-Friday,
• Shift : 1st shift
• Pay Rate : $16-17

• Oversee the movement of trucks delivering and / or picking up materials throughout the warehouse facility.
• Process all paperwork including shipping and receiving records, container size, LRP numbers, warehouse shipping, and daily inventory log.
• Instruct forklift operator of actions to be taken with all incoming loads / material.
• Assist in verifying that material is correct and set up in a safe configuration for shipping.
• Inspect all incoming material against proper paperwork to ensure correct destination, quantity and product.
• Inspect all incoming material for damages to packaging or product utilizing the 13 point CMI receiving report.
• Receive report process and make possible repairs according to procedure, take pictures for documentation, present and discuss all incoming damages with delivery driver, record and report all damaged material internally as well as the shipper / consignee to determine course of action.
• Tally weight of all LTL loads to ensure that combined materials do not exceed the proper shipping weight restrictions and decide what materials should be removed if overweight.
• Determine container size and proper LRP to be used on all loads prior to being shipped.
• Communicate any incidents, accidents, damages, claims to management immediately.
• Ensure proper safety attire is worn at all times including steel toed boots, safety vests, gloves, long sleeved shirts and full-length cotton pants, safety glasses, and any other safety attire that is assigned by the supervisor.
• Use company guidelines, instructions, policies, procedures, and follow OSHA regulations in the performance of all job functions.
• Keep warehouse facility clean and safe at all times.

Job Requirements fo 1st Shift Quality Control :

• basic warehouse experience for past 3 months required.
• Able / willingness to be trained to operate forklift and accept added responsibilities
• Flexibility to effectively work with others from different culture, work habits, and management styles
• Standing, Bending & Lifting requirements up to 50 lbs
