Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is Hiring a Customer Service Rep Near Goshen, IN

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a premier employer located in Goshen, Indiana is seeking a qualified candidate for their Customer Service Role. This client is a custom manufacturer of thermoplastic hose and tubing products for the RV industry.
Customer Service Rep Summary:
  • Responsible for delivering excellence in sales and service by effectively communicating with current and prospective customers. Range of duties include; order processing, price quoting and communicating basic product information.
  • Hours - 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday
  • Pay: $19/hr
Customer Service Rep Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for Customer account management including but not limited to; order processing, order confirmation, current lead times, pricing, and overall order accuracy.
  • Effectively communicates pertinent information concerning orders and stock to customers and follows up with the necessary departments to facilitate on time and full delivery.
  • Communicates with both internal and external customers via telephone, e-mail and fax correspondence.
  • Investigates shipment information on orders related to shortages, overages, damage/ lost by carrier, refusals, and miss-ships.
  • Provides customers with updated information regarding quotes, order schedules, price changes, and updates system accordingly.
  • Maintains “active” phone availability in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Familiar with basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on product lines and provides service parts breakdown if necessary.
  • May rotate in other key administrative office positions when necessary.
  • Is responsible for storage of all POD documents
  • Provides label and freight for UPS for product shipment and general packages.
  • Assists with warehouse organization.
  • Performs related additional assignments as required
Customer Service Rep Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associates degree in related area of study (Business, Communications) preferred
  • Two years of related experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and adapt as business needs dictate.
  • Strong relationship management, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience developing, building and maintaining strong business partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as working independently and self-directed.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The associate may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Customer Service Rep Work Environment:
  • Generally works in an office setting but will be required to spend time each day inside a plant environment.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts
  • The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.
