Position Description:

Summary/Objective: The Project Manager will plan, organize, and manage, complex projects for the organizations expansion.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Leads a cross-functional interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
  • Interfaces with external partners during conceptualization, planning, contracting, and implementation phases
  • Maintains budget estimates and conducts cost analysis when needed Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to executives; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk.
  • Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Acts as a liaison between -organization, internal and external stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Communicates and collaborates with development and marketing teams to provide training and information required to promote new projects, programs, and systems.
  • Collaborates with Compliance Department to ensure adherence with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and other regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in related field, which may include Human Services, Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, required.
  • At least three years of related experience required.
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.
Physical Requirements:
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with others, both verbally and in written form. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and operate office machines, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
