Our client, an AS9100 certified company with over 65 years in business serving the needs of the defense and aerospace industries, seeks a Plant Manager. This Manager oversees and coordinates the daily operations of the plant, ensuring efficient production, built-in quality, and adherence to safety protocols and the AS9100 standards. This role involves strategic planning, personnel management, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant performance and meet production goals. The right candidate is an organized leader with strong time management and interpersonal skills, who will ultimately be responsible for providing quality products in a timely manner to the most influential and recognizable names in defense.
Your experience should include: - 3 years of manufacturing management experience, including managing multiple supervisors- a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other related fields AND/OR 7-10 years of overall manufacturing experience- strong background in metal fabrication- proficiency in interpreting blueprints/shop drawings- experience planning production lines- strong personnel management and communication skills- computer competency, specifically with the MS Office suite
Experience with Lean Six Sigma, ERP/MRP systems, and working within ISO9001 and AS9100 standards are pluses.
