People Architects is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Technician for our client, an innovative, growing, and trusted engineering and architectural firm that has been providing clients with award-winning projects and inspired solutions since 1922. 

Key Responsibilities:`

• Conduct asbestos, lead-based paint, and hazardous materials surveys and air monitoring services for various clients located in the Midwest region.
• Write client reports that convey sound professional methodology, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Act as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including high-level public and private contacts.
• Perform other duties in direct relationship to the department operations.

Qualifications: 

• A minimum two-year college degree is required, preferably in a related field.
• Experience in surveying sites for asbestos, lead-based paint, and hazardous materials, air monitoring, and mold investigations.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload.
• Proficiency with standard computer programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• The ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of public and private entities is necessary.
• Asbestos and Lead certifications are highly desired.
• This position will split their time between the Cleveland and Toledo offices.
