Responsibilities

• In charge of collecting plasma from donors in an efficient and effective manner by conducting venipuncture, monitoring the pheresis process, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Ensures that patient samples are correctly identified and delivered to the proper lab sections.
• Makes a significant contribution to the section's and department's smooth and effective operation.
• Displays and promotes laboratories' professional image in conformity with the hospital, department, and professional society beliefs, aims, and laboratory testing requirements.
• Follows proper safety and identification procedures when dealing with patients and/or specimens under any circumstance or environment.
• Complies with general Medical Center requirements in order to provide a healthy environment.
• Follows approved rules and procedures to protect oneself, coworkers, and the facility from transmitting bloodborne and/or airborne illnesses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• Must be 18 years old and above
• Valid Driver’s License with an insured automobile
• Accomplished clean criminal background history
• Ability to pass drug tests
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to be trained
