Join us as a Temporary Maintenance Technician II at ourNew Brighton, MN facility.You will perform maintenance functions in all areas with a primary focus on one of the following : Injection molding machines, automation, and assembly of test fixtures as well as assembly equipment.

You will also work with operations team members to troubleshoot issues and keep equipment running.

What’s in it for you?

The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is : $27.00 - $29.00. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range.

Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be determined by considering demonstrable level of experience, skills, knowledge, and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

Perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment.

Must order all repair parts and stock as needed.

Ability to work with maintenance software.

Understands and promotes safety in the shop. Continuously practice safe work habits to keep accidents from happening. Must be aware of safety requirements to safely work alone, as well as in conjunction with other maintenance staff.

Lock out / Tag out procedures, etc.)

Must be able to work with vibrating tools such as impact wrenches and tools.

Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in equipment and correct repairs promptly.

Must be able to work with low-voltage and high-voltage electricity safely.

Position hours / shift :

1st shift 7 : 00am 3 : 30pm Monday - Friday

Requirements :

A high school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance or equivalent technical degree / certification.

Knowledge of PLC’s, hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, mechanics, and schematic readings. Knowledge of computers and ability to operate Microsoft Office products.

Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting and lowering weights up to 50 pounds. Steel toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.

Welding and HVAC experience preferred.
