Penske is Hiring a Remote National Account Manager- (Remote)

Position Summary:

Provide day-to-day assistance and management of then assigned National/Major accounts to ensure customer service levels and confidence at the corporate and field levels of the customer are maintained. Assist the MAE’s & EAM’s that are assigned to the account, assisting them of identified operational issues that impact the account and Penske locations knowing that once the specific account goals are met, the national account manager moves onto the next customer.

Major Responsibilities:

• Act as the liaison and operational SPOC between the PTL field locations and the customer, helping to execute any and all tasks that arise with assigned accounts.

• Assure all processes and business needs are being met and completed to improve their bottom line.

• Eliminate “pain points” that interrupt their daily business activities and business needs.

• Other projects and tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred

• 5-10 years of transportation/logistics experience required

• Must have strong knowledge in Sales, Finance, Operations and Distribution

• Knowledge of Sales, Finance, Operations, Distribution, Safety, P&L, Budgeting, Cost Analysis, Legal Contracts, Software Proficiency, Pro-forma’s

• Ability to build teams and develop others

• Must have strong communication skills

• Ability to focus on customer and drive process improvement

• Strong leadership skills required

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.

(25% - 50% Travel)
