POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Receiver is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Storeroom. Handle freight and UPS shipments. Deliver or store incoming material in an orderly fashion. Package and ship Service Orders and non-conforming materials in a timely manner as directed. Pick parts buggies for all work orders, sub-assemblies, and floor stock. Perform cycle counts as instructed. Prepare, organize, and file assorted paperwork and documents. Keep work area safe, neat, and clean. In this position, the ability and motivation to learn quickly is imperative.

Essential Functions

· Arrive at plant on time, properly groomed, mentally alert, and physically able to work.

· Responsible for scanning and verifying all received product against the packing slip.

· Responsible for coordinating product flow to the floor.

· Forklift skill to unload and load tractor trailer

· All out going product is to be properly documented and labeled according to company standards.

· Responsible for the Return to Vendor (RTV) process.

· Responsible for visually checking and alerting management to any received merchandise that is damaged or missing.

· Assists in the training and development of associates as needed.

· Properly secures all assets and physical inventory and follows all loss prevention and key control procedures.

· Operating mobile equipment as required such as front loaders, skid steers, forklift, etc.

· Strictly adhere to PTT! Health and Safety Policies and Procedures

· Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

• Capacity to work independently and seek out assistance as required.

• Attention to detail

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred with strong math skills

• Three years of work experience with Fork truck

Preferred Education / Experience

• Previous work in a manufacturing environment preferred

Physical Job Demands

Ability to lift 60 lbs., work in extreme hot and cold weather, must stand for long periods of time, will be exposed to loud noise levels, operate hand and power tools for long periods of time. Work in an environment with dirt, grease, and dust. Manual dexterity to operate specialized equipment. Ability to hear telephone conversations and speak clearly. May need a high level of concentration in a busy area.

Working Conditions

Great working hours Monday through Friday Day Shift.
