Pennsylvania School District Liquid Asset Fund is Hiring an Executive Director Near Lancaster, PA

Job Overview:

The Pennsylvania School District Liquid Asset Fund (PSDLAF) is in search of a qualified individual for the retention of the services of an Executive Director/Independent Contractor. PSDLAF is pursuing a highly skilled individual to continue the work of the current Executive Director. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Executive Director will oversee the strategic and operational efficiencies of the Fund and work in concert with PSDLAF’s Professional Partners and Legal Counsel. This experienced leader must understand the work and mission of PSDLAF and the Fund’s Settlors. Experience in coordinating PSDLAF’s operations is essential, along with maintaining the established relationships with the Professional Education Associations, Professional Service Partners, and Legal Counsel. Above all, the Executive Director must be highly effective in a leadership role that requires clear communication skills, consensus building and decisiveness.

Objectives of this role:

· Work closely with the board of trustees and committees to assess and address issues affecting the organization.

· Oversee daily operations of the organization, providing executive direction for program strategies and efficiencies, compliance, and quality assurance.

· Identify and address requirements for efficient operations, and maintain a strong work culture that attracts and retains partners while driving the organization’s mission.

· Increase awareness of the organization by being a spokesperson and liaison with local media when necessary.

· Develop annual goals consistent with the Fund’s Strategic Plan.

· Insurance compliance with all local, state, and national regulations.

Responsibilities:

· Create business plans for achieving goals and objectives set in collaboration with the Board of PSDLAF Trustees.

· Work with the PSDLAF Settlors, Professional Service Partners (PMA and PNC Bank) and Professional Associations (PSBA and PASBO) to maintain the highest for Fund participants.

· Serve as the face of the organization and participate in external events to increase visibility, credibility, market brand, and develop strategic partnerships to further increase community awareness and expand programs.

· Build and lead an effective team that’s dedicated to fulfilling PSDLAF’s mission through highly successful programs and school community engagements for the Fund’s Settlors.

· Manage relationships with Settlors, Professional Service Partners, School Associations, and Municipal Associations whose experiences, cultures, and languages reflect the education and municipal community served by PSDLAF.

Required skills and qualifications:

· Extensive years of experience in executive management, preferably with School Entities and governmental agencies.

· Strong experience in public relations, marketing, and the operation of local government investment programs (LGIPS)

· Knowledge of leadership and management principles for school district and municipal operations.

· Proven success working with a Board of Trustees/Directors.

· Dynamic and charismatic team player who enjoys being a public face of the Fund.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

· Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, human resources, or finance.

· Experience in Strategic Planning and goal management.

· Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.

· Experience in School District and/or Municipal operations and relationships.

· Experience in making arrangements for meetings and virtual sessions.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
