Job Description
Title: Food Service Van Driver - Summer
Terms of Employment:
4 Hours\Day – As Needed (4 days a week during summer program) – Exact Schedule TBD by Director of Food and Nutrition
Employee Qualifications:
Must be able to follow Verbal and Written Directions
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic
Must be of sound physical condition and able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Must possess good communication skills
Must be able to keep control in a crisis situation and maintain the ability to make
reasonable judgments.
Must possess a High School Diploma
Must possess and maintain a valid New Jersey Motor Vehicle License.
Person Responsible To: - Immediate: Food Service School Manager
Primary: Director of Food and Nutrition
Employee Evaluation Process: In accordance with the policies of Pennsauken Board of
Education.
Primary Responsibility: To assist in the daily operations of the kitchen with regards to transfer, loading and unloading of meals, paper products and any other item needed for the Pennsauken School District’s meal service
Task Responsibilities and Procedures:

• Responsible for daily transfers between schools. This includes any and all breakfast and lunch items along with paper transfers
• Responsible to assist in unloading of items.
• Responsible for accurately completing daily transfer sheets
• Responsible for any other reasonable tasks as directed by your supervisor
