NET is recruiting for D&A Counselors to provide assessment and treatment services in a MAT milieu and deliver recovery based clinical services in individual, family and group venues.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with clinical specialty in administration or the human services) or other related field and 3 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent, MAT (opiate addicted) and/or co-occurring patients (MH & DA).
  • Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services) or other related field and 2 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent.
  • Computer literacy is an essential qualification.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide assessment services, as needed, and will determine the level of care, (LOC), based on the PCPC required by the PA Dept. of Health.
  • Maintain an active caseload of patients.
  • Deliver therapeutic services while maintaining a clinical chart on each patient which will include the development of a Comprehensive Treatment Plan, Progress Notes reflecting each serviced delivered, Treatment Plan Updates and Reviews, Annual Evaluations, Case Consultation, Psychiatric/Medical Referral (as needed) with follow-up documentation and Aftercare/continuing Care Planning.
  • Responsible for appropriate documentation which includes the assessment for and admission into the appropriate LOC and continuation of treatment.
