JFK Behavioral Health Center is Hiring a Drug & Alcohol Clinical Program Director Near Philadelphia, PA

Position Overview: JFKs Drug & Alcohol Program Director ensures the quality of clinical service delivery to clients and supervises all clinical documentation for clients with drug/alcohol problems and/or behavioral health issues. Our Walk-In Clinic receives self-referrals, practitioner or agency referrals for individuals that may require assessment for IOP, outpatient therapy or other services.

Program Manager:

  • Oversees the clinical assessments for populations presenting with substance use, addiction disorders, or co-occurring disorders.
  • Under direction of the VP- Behavioral Health, administers program resources provided for direct client supports.
  • Maintains a familiarity with all JFKs programs and services to maximize client access to rehabilitative resources.

Clinical Supervision:

  • Trains clinicians in technique andmethodology; orients with appropriate laws, policies, regulations and procedures; evaluates performance & development, determines training needs.
  • Conducts supervision with assigned clinical staff and reviews and signs-off on all progress notes/treatment plans.
  • Ensure all clinical documentation adheres to all federal, state, county and payer requirements.

  • Understand substance use, treatment and the dynamics of psychological rehabilitation.
  • Are experienced in, and motivated to influence the professional development of clinicians providing behavioral health services.
  • Can establish rapport and cooperative relationships with clinicians, administrators and clients.
  • Understand the social factors which contribute to attitudes and behaviors.
  • Are organized and can monitor clinicians documentation for adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Is keenly aware of the laws, regulations and rules governing the provision of behavioral health services.

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in social work, psychology, counseling, social work, human services, chemical dependency or a related discipline from an accredited university.
  • Four years previous work experience to include:
    • Two years of post-masters clinical supervision experience in a health or human service environment
    • One year of direct experience working with the chemically dependent
    • One year of general clinical experience
  • LCSW/LPC required.

Schedule:Monday through Friday: 9 am to 5 pm

Location: Center City Philadelphia, accessible to SEPTA and Regional Rail
