SUMMARY OF POSITION :
Penn State Health Medical Group has a new joint-focused opportunity available for a Nurse Practitioner to join the team. The ideal candidate will have previous orthopaedic experience, specifically with joints so they can assist in joint surgery cases. The APP will work closely with the joint surgeon to provide coverage in the OR and clinic. Clinical responsibilities will include the assistance with pre and post operative work up and care and evaluation and treatment of both new and follow up patients. The individual will split their work schedule in both the Berks and Lancaster regions.

• Master's degree in Nursing required
• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required
• Two years’ prior experience as a nurse required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• Certification in area of specialty preferred
