SUMMARY OF POSITION

This position is to allow for flexibility between the endoscopy department and the sterile processing department.

As the Sterile Processing tech, this position prepares, sterilizes, installs, operates, inspects, & / or cleans healthcare equipment.

As the Endoscopy Tech, this position is responsible for assisting and supporting provider diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including procedure room setup, providing and anticipating necessary equipment and supply needs, maintaining a sterile field, and preparing and administering appropriate medications as delegated.

Assists the provider with alternate site procedures and associated equipment documentation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S) :

• High School or equivalent
• BLS required prior to orientation completion

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S) :

Endoscopy, bronchoscopy, or sterile processing experience
