As a Shipping & Warehouse Manager, you will lead the way in managing all inbound and outbound shipments of our client's raw materials and finished products. You will play a strategic role in overseeing daily operations of the shipping department, including office personnel, forklift drivers, stackers, and the staging of customer deliveries for shipment. Your responsibility will be to implement company standard operating procedures and ensure that all warehouse personnel follow them. As an employee responsible for the Shipping department and warehouse personnel, you will:

• Maintain budgetary guidelines
• Hold regular scheduled meetings with all departments
• Establish acceptable performance levels for personnel
• Coordinate inbound and outbound orders
• Schedule and train personnel
• Coordinate loads, fulfillment rates, inventory and receiving
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external third-party audits
• Review Ship List for inventory shortages
• Ensure accurate BOL's, receiving tickets and driver check in/out sheets
• Comply with GMP, USDA, and DOL standards.

Experience:

• 5 years of compliance/safety certs & training
• Analytical & problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
• Strong leadership & personnel management abilities
• Excellent oral & written communication skills
• Ability to learn transportation software & tech
• Knowledge of DOT, state, & federal policies/procedures
• Attend workshops/educational programs to stay informed
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
