Penmac Staffing is now accepting resumes for an experienced Maintenance Technician $26.85 - $33.71 to work a 3rd Shift in North Memphis 7pm - 7am 3 days off 4 days on rotating in. Looking for someone with Allen Bradley and PLC experience that is dependable, good attitude and an overall willingness to work. Position does require an interview and passing score on a 2 hour Maintenance - Ramsay - Multicraft test the day of your interview. There is a practice Ramsay test on their website.

Job Duties:
Installs, modifies, or maintains plant equipment and assists in determining appropriate methods to accomplish these tasks.
Inspects plant equipment to identify potential problems prior to breakdown occurrences.
Ability to precision align belts, gears or direct coupled shafts using proper tools to specified tolerances.
Answer line calls in a prompt manner and carry required tools to complete work safety and efficiently
Complete scheduled jobs and work orders as assigned
Assist during process upsets as needed.
Participate in safety and plant trainings.
Participating in Root Cause Analysis and TPM meetings
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED and be at least 18 Years Old
Good Background with felonies within the last 7 years
Must own a pair of steeltoe boots
Experience with:
Think under pressure, make quick and strategic decisions
Work independently, as well as part of a team, and have shift flexibility
Show initiative, be a self-starter, and be able to train and coach others
Communicate, in English, in a clear and effective manner
Operate a computer, learn SAP and Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Lubrication principles and bearing tolerances
Ability to take and score a 24 or higher on our Maintenance Skill Test
Hydraulic systems, pumps, motor control, power circuitry, PLC’s and welding
Working knowledge of conveyor and chain driven systems
Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Stand for 10-12 hours straight
Able to ascend and descend stairs/ladders as needed for the role
Do repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee and squatting, push and pull 40 pounds)
Exposure to temperature extremes; sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable; and outside weather as needed
