Mon-Fri 730am-350pm
Pay can start up to $16.22 depending on experience and $2 raise for being a Lead.
Summary: The goal of a Lead Person is to motivate a team to meet daily demand using lean principals to make continuous improvements in their department, while maintaining KPIs and fostering Clemco’s Values, Principals & Behaviors.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

Oversees daily operation of Shipping, Receiving, Crating & Material Handling.
*
Supports initiatives of Supervisor and the Leadership Team.
*
Keeps team motivated with a positive attitude.
*
Calculates daily demand.
*
Coordinates & assigns work to team members to meet daily demand.
*
Maintains daily & monthly metrics to meet goals of department.
*
Follows Clemco priorities of People/Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost.
*
Utilizes problem solving tools to drive continuous improvement in the department: pareto charts, cause chains, A3’s.
*
Supports team on continuous improvement opportunities.
*
Supports and maintains an active 5S program.
*
Develops & coaches team members and provides feedback.
*
Creates and maintains workstation instructions.
*
Assists with training new employees.
*
Conducts daily department meetings for metrics and other communication.
*
Interacts with other departments and support teams as necessary.
*
Participates in events or training courses as necessary.
*
May participate in corrective coaching, interviewing & hiring process.
*
Assures team is adhering to Clemco values, principles & behaviors.
*
Demonstrates flexibility with work schedule and overtime as needed.
