Job Description

Incorporates knowledge of the nursing process and the professionalstandards of nursing in daily practice. Applies knowledge of growthand development to perform detailed assignments/interventions.Provides consistent care based on the changing physical andpsychosocial needs, unique to the patient in accordance with thephilosophy, goals and objectives of Pender Community Hospital.

Hours: Minimum 36 hours/week, Monday-Friday8:00am-4:00pm, rotating on-call for surgery for nights, weekends, and holidays

Experience and Skills

Education and/or Experience

• One to two years experience preferred

Certificates, Licensure, Registrations

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraskaor multi state licensure in a nurse licensure compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
