The Sleep Services Coordinator works under the general supervision of the Medical Director and/or Cardiopulmonary Manager to manage and oversee operations related to in center and home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education.
The Sleep Services Coordinator introduces, maintains, and continuously improves the quality of technologies, services, and procedures of the sleep lab in compliance with Pender Community Hospital policies, state and federal regulatory requirements on an annual basis. Maintains accreditation based on current standards. Ensures that all activities of the department are performed in a manner that contributes to the quality and cost effectiveness of the hospital operations. Effectively provides marketing and PR for the Sleep Center.
Hours: Minimum 36 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm, 12 hour shift on occasion
