Our growing practice is on the cutting edge of the newest technology in dentistry. We are currently searching for a candidate who is motivated to excel with digital dentistry, an individual who is motivated to learn about the latest and greatest equipment and techniques. The ideal candidate is excited about large surgical cases, is willing to take on the responsibility of equipment maintenance, and is ready to join a team that genuinely cares about the outcome of our patients cases. This is a general practice that does large surgical cases.

Pena Adobe Dental Care is located in Vacaville off of Butcher Rd. Our working hours are Monday-Wednesday from 7:40am-5pm and Thursday from 7:40am-4pm, with 1 Friday prescheduled per month. We take a full hour lunch break, we offer paid holidays, provide health insurance and 401K for our employees. Paid vacation is available after 1 year of employment with our practice. We have a fun, fast-paced office atmosphere where patient care is the top priority.

The Dental Assistant will be responsible for the following duties including but not limited to:

• The setup and breakdown of all general restorative procedures
• Assisting the doctor chairside and anticipating the doctor's needs
• Developing and maintaining a professional relationship with patients
• Creating and sending out lab cases per our office's protocols
• Ensuring setups are complete and sterilized prior to scheduled procedures.
• Sterilization of instruments and equipment
• Taking digital x-rays
• Taking digital scans for crown/bridge cases, Invisalign, study models, and more
• Digital equipment maintenance
• Learning and assimilating to the doctor's techniques for both restorative and surgical cases
• Treatment planning based off of the dentist's diagnosis under the direction of the dentist.

The ideal candidate has experience with digital dentistry, including scanning with iTero and/or Trios, has surgical experience, and can learn to assist in complicated procedures. Pay for this position is negotiable depending on experience.
