PEMHS is Hiring a Maintenance Worker Near Pinellas Park, FL

SUMMARY: Responsible for general maintenance and functioning of all agency facilities and equipment (changing locks, snaking toilets, patching walls, changing out ballasts or other lighting fixtures, ect.). Daytime M-F schedule with rotating paid on-call.

EXPERIENCE: GED or high school diploma required with two years of experience in maintenance working with knowledge of carpentry and plumbing preferred. Candidate should have experience with tools

REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to safely climb a ladder. Must possess valid driver's license with insurable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) i.e. no major moving violations within the last 3 years.

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Long and unusual hours are sometimes required, a company cellphone must be carried, working outside in the elements may be required, working around with emotionally disturbed consumers is a possibility (Baker Act receiving facility). Rotating on-call.
