Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during various dental procedures and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients. Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing support as needed

- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist

- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history

- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care, and preventive measures

- Assist with dental lab tasks, including pouring impressions and trimming models

- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures

- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus

- Familiarity with medical coding for dental procedures is preferred

- Bilingual is a plus

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
