Description

Pelican Bay Foundation is the premier luxury community in Naples, FL. One of the area’s largest exclusive enclaves, situated on more than three square miles and bordered by pristine white-sand beaches. Our community offers the most diverse slate of amenities and activities anywhere in the region. We are currently seeking a Seasonal Guest Services Representative to join our team.

Pelican Bay Foundation strives to offer its members and guests the absolute best customer service in the hospitality industry. We are committed to our people, culture and providing exceptional service. The Guest Services Representative will assist our members and guests with digital and physical credentials, answer email, phone and in-person inquiries, and handle substantial data entry. This position serves members and guests consistent with the Foundation’s mission, standard of service, and goals. Our staff play a significant role as the first contact when customers enter the lobby.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

  • Greet and assist members and their guests making them feel welcomed
  • Maintain knowledge of all Pelican Bay amenities, service hours and current news and upcoming events schedule
  • Effectively communicate both verbally and written, at all levels with staff, members, and guests in an attentive, courteous and service oriented manner
  • Listen, understand, and clarify concerns raised by members and guests
  • Handle problems, including anticipating, identifying and solving problems as necessary
  • Create guest passes and member cards with proficiency
  • Update member database accurately as needed
  • Process credit cards and payments and miscellaneous items not already pre-paid
  • Coordinate with Security regarding lost member or guest items
  • Conduct business with confidentiality and professionalism

Education

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required

Skills & Experience

  • Hospitality experience required
  • Strong written, oral and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate (read, write, speak) effectively in English
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Accuracy in data entry and processing payments and orders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Handle a high-volume workload with accuracy, speed and professionalism
  • Working knowledge of Jonas, or other similar programs a plus
