PEG Staffing & Recruiting, Inc. is Hiring a Finance Manager Near Kirkwood, MO

PEG Staffing has partnered with a growing client in search of a Finance Manager to join their team. As the Finance Manager, you'll oversee maintaining financial health and ensuring that the records are accurate. You’ll take charge of the general ledger, manage financial statements, and handle various tax responsibilities like sales/use and franchise taxes. This role is a great fit for someone who’s not just sharp in accounting but also naturally curious and always keen to tweak and enhance financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of sales/use and franchise tax returns.
  • Prepare accurate and timely journal entries and financial statements.
  • Responsible for month end closing activities.
  • Assist with audits.
  • Analyze financial data and contribute to budget planning and financial forecasting.
  • Identify opportunities for financial and operational improvements.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure compliance with financial procedures and to streamline financial processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
