Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of sales/use and franchise tax returns.
- Prepare accurate and timely journal entries and financial statements.
- Responsible for month end closing activities.
- Assist with audits.
- Analyze financial data and contribute to budget planning and financial forecasting.
- Identify opportunities for financial and operational improvements.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure compliance with financial procedures and to streamline financial processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
- 5 years of accounting experience.
