PeerSource is currently recruiting for a Technical ServiceNow Manager on a Direct Hire basis for our client in Gulfport, MS.

Summary

The role involves leading and directing resources to develop, support, and deliver business solutions using the ServiceNow Platform and ASP framework. This includes overall management of ServiceNow, .Net/ASP, and SharePoint environments, supervision of technical staff, and ensuring the successful execution of projects within budget and on time. The role also encompasses training subordinates, managing web delivery projects, and maintaining business continuity across software systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of specialized applications utilizing ServiceNow Platform capabilities.
• Ensure proper staffing and training for production support and business continuity.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee technical and operational projects, ensuring team activities meet business priorities.
• Monitor team workload and ensure assignments are balanced and priorities met.
• Review team members' work for compliance with standards and project objectives.
• Provide leadership and development opportunities to team members, including technical and leadership training.
• Manage project lifecycles, including requirement gathering, staffing, prioritization, and execution using Agile methodologies.
• Direct the development and revision of programs to improve efficiency and meet new requirements.
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing, develop deployment plans, and ensure solutions meet both functional and non-functional specifications.
• Manage a team of 5-10 technical resources with responsibilities covering hiring, training, performance appraisal, and disciplinary actions.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to align on client requirements and leverage existing platform functionality effectively.

Required Skills

• 10 years of system and software development experience with a focus on ServiceNow.
• Proficient in ServiceNow platform management and scoped application development, including ITSM, FSO, Integration Hub, Automation Hub, and advanced modules such as IRM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, and HRSD.
• Experienced in integrating various business applications and automating processes through both service-based and RPA-based integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead substantial projects with a focus on effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of conducting complex data analysis and making data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in creating and presenting detailed reports and procedural manuals to diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of financial business applications and the ability to apply technical skills to meet business needs effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree ideally in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related (equivalent experience would also be considered).
