Responsibilities

Come join the largest Pediatric Neurology practice in Central Texas, Child Neurology Consultants of Austin (CNCA)! 

• Ten Child Neurologists, including specialists in Epilepsy/Neurophysiology (4) and Neuromuscular Disease.
• Ancillary services such as EEGs, EMGs, and Infusions are embedded in our clinics.
• NEW long-term monitoring unit opening in 2024 connected to our Central Austin Clinic
  • 4x long-term monitoring EEG rooms
  • Allow for 24/48/72-hour monitoring
• Affiliations with Dell Children’s Medical Center (only Free-standing PEDs hospital in the region), North Austin Medical Center, and Texas Children's Hospital in Houston.
• CNCA physicians teach at Texas A&M and hold clinical appointments in Pediatrics and Neurology.
• CNCA supports St. David’s Children’s Hospital in north Austin with a dedicated Children’s ED and 2 EMU beds.
  • Proud partners with Austin physicians, supporting NICUs at multiple sites in both hospital systems.
• Team approach and collaborative care amongst NPs, Tech’s, and referring MDs.
• CNCA offers a continuum of care from hospital services to outpatient services.
• Strong collaboration with community resources to help support our patients’ neurological needs.
• CNCA offers programs to enhance special interests.

Qualifications

Applicants must have graduated from an ACGME accredited Pediatric Neurology training program and have well-rounded clinical experience. Additional fellowship training in epilepsy or other subspecialty experience is a plus but is not required. Individuals accepted for these positions will have full-time clinical responsibilities and also opportunities for program development in an area of specialty interest, clinical research or academic/educational endeavors.
