We are expanding our team at Pediatrics West! Come join us today. We are seeking Medical Assistants who are energetic, enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable for our Littleton location (13402 W. Coal Mine Ave).

Responsible for assisting licensed medical personnel with patient care, clerical, environmental and organizational tasks. May schedule patient appointments. Assists in chart management. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Functions as a liaison between patients, staff and providers. Conveys a positive image of the clinic.

Responsibilities

*Taking patients history and vital signs *Collecting and processing specimens *Preparing and administering medications as directed by the physician *Performing selected diagnostic tests

Requirements and Qualifications

*High school diploma *Medical assistant coursework completion *Certification preferred but not required *CNA or EMT course accepted *Minimum 1 year of work related experience in a medical office setting preferred but not required *Pediatrics preferred but not required *Certification from AAMA or AMT preferred not required *EMR experience preferred (EPIC) *Vaccine administration experience preferred *Phlebotomy experience preferred *CNA or EMT experience accepted *MA Certification /Coursework *Current BLS Certification *Basic Computer Skills *Excellent Communication skills *Maintains professional appearance at all times *Team player a must *Self-motivated/ works independently/dependable *Pays attention to detail

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 and up

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays. Compensation depends on your experience.
