About Us:

We are a growing outpatient practice on Maui serving a great need in our community. We provide high quality Physical and Occupational Therapy services to children of all ages and abilities and are looking for someone to join our administrative team who shares our passion for helping children. As the Patient Services Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for new families seeking services for their children, as well as the person ensuring that everything is in place for our kiddos to be able to get their services covered by insurance (referrals and authorizations). The ideal candidate will be kind, compassionate, a great listener, team player, and pay meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Track and follow up with all patient referrals
  • Insurance verification
  • Ensure patients have insurance authorization for covered services
  • Guide new patients through our intake procedure
  • Help educate families on why therapy is important
  • Review policies and procedures with parents and guardians
  • Schedule patients for evaluation appointments
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails
  • Respond to and manage medical record requests
  • Help keep clinic space clean, organized, and comfortable
  • Help cover other front desk duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Front Desk experience is preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional and positive attitude
  • Possess a willingness to learn systems, policies, and procedures
  • Be a team player
  • Posses the tenacity to reach goals/targets

Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus opportunity for weekly bonuses based on % of arrivals
  • Location: Kahului, HI 96732, In person
  • Experience: Customer service, 1 year (Preferred)
