Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team. As an Insurance Coordinator, you will be responsible for verifying insurance coverage, processing claims, and ensuring accurate billing for our patients. Your attention to detail and knowledge of medical coding and insurance procedures will be essential in this role. Correcting claims and following up and maintaining goals set will be needed.

Duties:
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
- Process insurance claims accurately and efficiently
- Review and update patient information in electronic medical records
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any claim issues or denials
- Provide excellent customer service to patients regarding insurance inquiries
- Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate billing and timely reimbursement
- Maintain knowledge of current insurance regulations, including HIPAA compliance
- Assist with medical coding and documentation as needed
- Manage and update patient insurance records

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a dental setting is preferred
- Proficiency in dental terminology, coding, and insurance verification
- Familiarity with PPOs and insurance billing procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing claims
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
