WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT - Based upon insurance company requests, confers with surgeon and other providers and schedules patient for all insurance required extra exams, tests, with various providers, laboratories and facilities. - Meets with patients monthly or more frequently if needed, to update patient on status, discuss insurance requests and the scheduling thereof, of tests, exams, pre-procedures - Ability to reassure patients, and address patient process that it takes from interest in bariatric surgery to completion of the surgery, recovery, and for lifetime management. - Assists in patient in navigating and successfully completing all required insurance requests for bariatric surgery.
