Pediatric Dental Associates & Orthodontics of Alabama is Hiring a Scheduling Coordinator - Pediatric Dental Office Near Birmingham, AL

Our downtown Birmingham office is looking for a Scheduling Coordinator to join our team.

We are looking for someone that has a positive attitude and cares for the overall well being of the patient by listening and understanding the patient’s needs to schedule them for the best care.

Other duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Answering phones promptly and efficiently
  • Scheduling appointments for patients in up to 6 different office locations
  • Maintaining patient records inside Dentrix Software

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of experience in a Dental office and experience working with Dentrix software required
  • Knowledge of Dental terminology and ADA/CPT Codes required
  • Strong knowledge base of dental insurance & explanation of benefits required
  • Must possess a high degree of interpersonal relations skills and capability of relating to a variety of people and personalities
  • Must possess a high level of flexibility and tolerance to adjust to changes in work loads and assignments
  • Valid driver’s license is required

Schedule

  • The scheduling center is open Monday through Friday. 7:30AM-5:00PM Monday through Thursday and Friday 7AM-1PM.
