PeCora Medical, PC is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Anderson, SC

We are a busy and thriving Primary Care Practice located in Anderson, SC. We are seeking the perfect candidate to assist us in our day-to-day administrative responsibilities as well as provide excellent patient care.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Welcomes and greets patients/clients/visitors to the practice in a manner that is helpful and friendly; determines the purpose of visit and directs patients/clients/visitors to the appropriate person or department(s).

- Schedules patient flow on pre-determined appointment arrangements to allow the office to serve an adequate number of patients.

- Carefully screens patients for new insurance, new address, new patient visit or update registration and informs the patient of adequate information that must be presented at time of visit.

- Adheres to all Office policies on safety and security.-Must exercise utmost diplomacy and tact to provide excellent customer service for patients.

-Practices confidentiality and privacy protocols in accordance with Office policies and HIPAA requirements.

-Maintains patient waiting areas and front-desk areas in a manner that is organized and neat. Sanitizes patient waiting areas per CDC COVID-19 protocols.

-Informs patient of any existing balance noted in the patient's account and requests patient be prepared for any payment due at time of visit. Understands EOBs and can explain the reason for balances to the patient.

-Performs day to- day administrative functions and general office duties including but not limited to word processing, copying, filing, faxing, answering phones and data entry.

-Exercises problem-solving and conflict resolution skills when handling patient complaints; refers patient complaints to appropriate designated personnel as needed.- Performs other duties as may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS-

Must have the ability to exercise a high degree of diplomacy and tact.

Excellent customer services and interpersonal communication skills.

Must exhibit passion for outstanding results and compassion for those we work with and serve; Happy and positive thinking, able to project this attitude around others
Intermediate to advanced computer knowledge and skills in Microsoft office and emails.
Great leadership qualities a must
Able to troubleshoot when necessary

Comfortable with constructive confrontation and counseling management
Has an entrepreneurial spirit and takes a proactive approach to business operations

Intermediate to advanced phone skills; able to effectively relate via the telephone and in-person to serve the needs of Clinic patients/clients/visitors in a manner that is efficient and productive.

-Must be highly flexible; able to accommodate changing needs of the department.

-Well-developed verbal and written communication skills ;

-Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision.

Proven flexibility and willingness to handle a variety of tasks.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Graduation from high school or equivalent plus a minimum of two years of medical receptionist experience in comparable health care setting .If you meet all the requirements listed and are interested in joining our team, please send us your resume This position is available for immediate hire. Medical experience preferred. Internal Medicine/Primary Care/ Family Medicine experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
