Job Summary:
We are seeking a Power BI developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions, crafting and executing queries upon request for data, and presenting information through reports and visualizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate business needs to technical specifications
Design, build, and deploy Microsoft Power BI interactive and paginated reports and semantic models.
Evaluate, maintain, support, and improve existing Power BI reports and models
Conduct integration testing and troubleshooting
Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
Develop and execute data queries and conduct analyses
Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
Develop and update technical documentation
Requirements:
Must be US Citizen
Proven experience as a Microsoft Power BI Developer or Data Engineer
Familiar with dimensional modeling
Understanding of database management systems, ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworks, and SQL language.
Experience creating interactive reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI using the standard visuals
Experience creating paginated reports in Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or similar report framework.
Experience manipulating and cleaning data using Transform Data and Power Query M query formula language.
Comfortable writing simple DAX expressions to build measures and calculated columns.
Familiarity with Dynamics 365 & Dataverse
Familiarity with Azure Synapse Link for Dataverse
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
Familiarity with source control and deployment pipelines
Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and produce high quality, accurate reports from high-level requirements
Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Certification as Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate a plus
