Job Title: BI Application Developer

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and innovative BI Application Developer to join our team. The BI Application Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence (BI) applications and solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design data models, and develop applications that provide actionable insights and support decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
• Design and develop BI applications, reports, and dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Develop data models and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into BI solutions.
• Optimize performance and scalability of BI applications and solutions.
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and reliability of BI applications.
• Implement security measures and access controls to protect sensitive data.
• Document technical specifications, data models, and application designs.
• Provide technical support and training to end users on BI applications and tools.
• Stay current with BI technologies and best practices to continuously improve BI capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate BI solutions with other systems and applications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• years of experience in BI application development or related role.
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Experience with ETL tools and processes for data integration (e.g., SSIS, Informatica).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
