Major duties
- Develop sales programs and marketing activities for the assigned region.
- Meet or exceed annual sales forecasts for area of responsibility.
- Provide stewardship and accountability records for the assigned region.
- Help monitor and manage sales travel expenditures for the assigned region to help develop the annual budget.
- Support and implement public relations and communications programs as designed by the public relations office.
- Maintain open communication with the Director of Sales, other Regional Marketing Managers, as well as the staff in the Austin office.
- Attend staff meetings with Director of Sales and other Regional Marketing Managers and Austin office staff, as well as purchasers, customers, CRPs and other contacts.
- Develop and conduct training seminars for the region, maintaining accountability for presentation details.
- Pursue any opportunities which might benefit regional CRPs, including tradeshows and expos.
- Document all customer/CRP complaints and resolution of these complaints.
- Meet or exceed annual sales forecasts for area of responsibility.
- Update sales forecast each quarter following the Texas Council quarterly meeting.
- Maintain all CRP and customer files, including correspondence, contracts and cost analysis.
- Maintain all automobile and time records for work in the assigned region.
- Help monitor and manage sales travel expenditures for the assigned region to help develop the annual budget.
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in sales, customer service, and marketing is a plus
- Understand contract requirements and ability to explain and ensure specifications are adhered to.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word.
- Detail oriented, ability to adapt to changing priorities, and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- High degree of discretion with confidential information and sensitivity to the needs of persons with disabilities.
- Salary:$60,000
- Days / Hours: Monday-Friday/8am-5pm
- Direct Hire
- Location: West Texas Region (Abilene resident preferred)
- Regional travel required (50% or more)
