Peak Healthcare at Copper Ridge is Hiring an Assisted Living Manager Near Sykesville, MD

Peak Healthcare at Copper Ridge is looking for a full-time Assisted Living Manager with the high-energy skills needed to manage the clinical oversight of resident care and oversee the success of the Assisted Living community. Partnering with residents, family members, and the staff; this position will be responsible for supporting the social service needs of residents, in addition to ensuring the highest quality of resident care and customer service in our community. The AL Manager provides complete oversight of the department's employees to include the Delegating Nurse, Charge Nurses, Caregivers and Medication Technicians. We would prefer a delegating nurse with the the goal of growth. Must be willing to obtain the the Assited Living Manager license.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of relatable experience
  • Current AL Manager license or licensed nurse willing to obtain certification
  • Must possess organizational skills and be detail oriented
  • Familiar with COMAR regulations
  • Familiar with resident service plans and assessments
  • Familiar with OHCQ survey process
  • Participate in on-call rotation

Experience Needed:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of management experience in directing/providing special care for seniors and/or persons with dementia preferred
  • Has experience in community or long-term care settings. Possesses geriatric assessment skills. Is knowledgeable in dementia care
  • Has the ability to train staff and to assess systems and implement systems. Is organized and self-directed
  • Meet the State qualifications and training requirements for the position
  • Demonstrate ability to schedule staff, orient staff, supply inventory, etc.
  • Nursing license preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

License/Certification:

  • Assisted Living Manager Certification
