Peach Tree Clinic is Hiring an EHR/EPM Specialist Near Marysville, CA

Peach Tree Healthcare has an immediate opening for an EHR/EPM Specialists in our Marysville Administrative Offices.

This is a full-time position working from 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday-Friday and may require traveling to other clinics. Proof of Covid - 19 Vaccination required.

Must have the following experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Associates degree or a minimum of three years of related education and/or training required. A minimum of three years’ experience may be substituted for the education requirement.

  • Minimum of three years health center experience
  • Minimum of two years Information Systems experience, NextGen EHR/PM experience preferred.
  • Minimum of two years Data Analytics
  • Certification or attainment of NextGen NCP certification within 6 months of employment

Summary:

HIT Application Specialist is responsible for configuration and maintenance of Information Systems. Configures, tests, documents, implements, and supports NextGen application systems by coordinating with vendor representatives, system users, project team members, coworkers, and management.

Participates in project teams, configuration, implementation, ongoing maintenance, and support for all NextGen application systems. Providing Help Desk support managing tickets and support issues; serve as a health center resource and participate in development/refinement/trainings as needed. Provide leadership with information, analysis, and recommendations regarding, best practices in NextGen system for, but no limited to, insurance eligibility, patient demographic input, clinical charting, and coding. quality measures and regulations for FQHC to ensure compliance.

Develop and maintain data reporting systems for data gathering, reporting and analyzing activities. Fully understand and process the functions and all applications on the EHR side and the EPM side of NextGen

Knowledge:

Knowledge of health center operations, workflows, processes, and documentation requirements

  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and another third-party payer’s
  • Knowledge of Quality Measures related to UDS and HEDIS.
  • Knowledge of CHC/FQHC regulations
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and related privacy/confidentiality laws
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and other third-party payor's guidelines, with considerable knowledge of Medi-Cal billing and federally qualified health center operations and revenue streams.
  • Be able to fully process all applications on the EHR/EPM side and cross train as necessary.

  • NextGen super user strongly preferred. ·

  • Building reports using Crystal Reports and SSRS · SQL ·
  • Data analytics and reporting ·
  • Population health platforms such as DRVS ·
  • Microsoft Office Suite of products must have advanced knowledge of Excel functions. ·
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical and critical thinking skills (strong problem-solving skills).
