Peace Healthcare at Dennett Road Manor is a 99 bed skilled nursing facility located in Oakland, Maryland. Our skilled nursing facility has been serving the Maryland community for over 46 years. We’re proud to be a community tradition of outstanding service and compassionate care. We offer 24/7 skilled nursing care, hospice, respite care and many more services to seniors in the tristate area. We are seeking full time employees to work 8- or 12-hour shifts and become part of our growing team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Maryland Medication Technician License Required
  • High School diploma/GED

JOB SUMMARY: Inaccordancewith facilitypoliciesandprocedures,our Medication Technicians are responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates and administers medication to nursing home residents and provides supervision and guidance to clinical staff members
  • Documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs
  • Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
  • Administers medications and performs treatments for assigned residents, and documents that treatment as required by Company, and local, state and federal rules and regulations
  • Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel
  • Ensures that supplies are utilized economically and that equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner
  • Performs other tasks as assigned
