PDQ STAFFING is Hiring a Quality Control Operator - Snack Manufacturing (FT) Near Coppell, TX
PDQ Staffing is looking to hire Quality Control Technicians for a manufacturing company of candy and snacks.
Shift Monday-Friday (Mandatory overtime on Saturdays)
- 3rd 9:45 pm-6:15 am
- Location: Coppell, TX
- Pay rate: $19 per hour
Job purpose:
The Quality Control Tech will be responsible for analyzing raw materials, samples, and finished goods. They will perform analyses, analyze data, maintain laboratory environment, conduct product inspections, and maintain paperwork.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for following all aspects of company safety rules and procedures including helping inform management of any unsafe conditions.
- Follow all working guidelines instructed by the company including the 5’s protocol which is based on keeping the working areas clean and organized.
- Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety, and quality guidelines are followed.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating professionally and effectively with others and receiving communication from others.
- Must be organized and thorough with all lab procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High level of Integrity.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Good analytical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good knowledge of the implementation of policies & procedures.
- Good planning, organizing, and integration skills.
