PDQ STAFFING is Hiring a Forklift Operator/Material Handler (FT) Near Lancaster, TX
We are seeking for skilled Forklift Operators to join our team for a large leading, global manufacturer and supplier of highly engineered products and customized solutions, dedicated to shaping, growing and bettering the RV, marine, automotive, and commercial vehicle and building products industries. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a lift truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy lifting and order picking.
- Location: Lancaster, TX 75134.
- Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm OT.
- Pay Rate: $18.50/hr. Weekly Pay.
- Monday- Friday (Temp-Hire)
Job Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Must have experience operating a Cherry Picker and Stand-up Reach lift (Raymond Brand).
- Order picking/RF scanning.
- Building skids; cutting wood with table saw to appropriate lengths and assembling wood with nail gun.
- Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
- Follow OSHA standards for safe operation of the lift truck.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Stocks all goods in appropriate in-bin locations, assists in physical inventories, and processes customer returns daily.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds repeatedly.
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
- Must be comfortable working in extreme hot temperatures/environment (Non-Climate controlled facility)
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
- Steel toe shoes required.
