Qualifications :
- Welding Certificate Cert. D1.1 & D1.8,
- Bilingual,
- Clean driving Record.
- Able to lift 40 pounds & Rigging,
- Welding test Req. & validate said Exp.,
- Must be able to pass a drug screen,
- Must have own tools and tool bag,
- Fluxcore Welding Exp. on structural steel - ornamental steel,
- Steel Erection,
- Oxy cutting torch,
- Help fellow Ironworkers as required,
- Positive attitude, good character, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Install safety line and posts,
- Installing stairs, landings, rails, and guardrails. Welding all rails & rail returns,
- Able to read, understand and evaluate shop drawings (blueprints) preferred.
- Cut, position, and bold down steel bars to reinforce concrete.
Experience :
- Welding (ornamental - steel detail - erector)
- Heavy equipment operation (Preferred)
- General Construction (Preferred)
- 2 years of field experience installing structural steel and ornamental steel,
- OSHA , Rigger, fire watch experience.
