Helper/Laborer

Job Summary:

• Support other personnel as required,
• Lifting 60lb concrete bags mixing concrete in wheel barrow
• General Cleaning
• Loading and unloading trucks,
• Pickup and delivery of customer equipment, shop supplies, parts, etc
• 8 hour shift Monday to Friday
• Handles paperwork accurately and acquires all signatures per process
• Shop priming experience for structural steel
• Material shipping and receiving
• Basic knowledge on how to read a measuring tape and take measurements
• Basic knowledge of structural steel
• Forklift certified preferred but not required
• Operating overhead crane and rigging
• Material stock check
• Profiles and processes
• Lifts up to 60lbs -
• Shop fabrication helper as required
• Must have a basic understanding of standard power tools and possess the ability to read / follow simple instructions
• Work in confined spaces

Pay $17-$21 per hour depending on experience

Painter/Laborer

Job Summary:

• This person will be responsible for painting metal rails
• Cleaning and preparing all metal surfaces to be painted by removal of dirt, grease, rust, scale and old paint contaminants.
• Mixes material in accordance with material data sheets.
• High school graduate or equivalent with 2 years of experience in all facets of Painting.
• Must comply with Company Safety rules and Osha standards.
• Must be able to wear required Personal protective equipment

Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience

Steel Fabricator

Job Summary:

• Minimum 8 years plus experience
• Blue print reading a must
• Layout
• Fitter
• Rigging
• Structural steel erector/fabricator for structural steel columns and beams
• Rail fabricator
• Window/security grill fabrication
• Ability to work off shop drawings/blue prints
• Knowledge with structural steel profiles and processes

Pay $33-45 per hour depending on experience

Iron Worker Steel Erector

Qualifications:

• Welding Certificate,
• Bilingual,
• Driver License.
• Able to lift 50 pounds,
• Good communication skills,
• Must have able to pass a drug screen,
• Must have own tools and tool bag,
• Positive attitude, good character, and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Install safety line and posts,
• Erecting Steel columns, beams, girders, trusses, joists, etc.
• Installing stairs, landings, rails, and guardrails. Welding all rails & rail returns,
• Able to read, understand and evaluate shop drawings (blueprints) preferred.
• Cut, position, and bold down steel bars to reinforce concrete.
• Welding Certs D1.1-D1.8
• Fluxcore welding experience on structural steel / ornamental steel
• Mig welding exp. on ornamental steel
• Welding test required to validate said experience
• Clean driving record
• Must be able to pass drug test
• Rigging
• Lifts 50lbs -
• Help fellow ironworkers as required
• Steel erection
• Oxy cutting torch

Experience:

• Welding ( ornamental - steel detail - erector )
• Heavy equipment operation (Preferred)
• General Construction (Preferred)
• 2 years of field experience installing structural steel and ornamental steel,
• OSHA , Rigger, fire watch experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $36.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
