We have opportunities in the headquarters as well as branch offices.Only those seriously committed to being a member of a fast-paced, team-oriented, forward-thinking culture should apply and who currently hold an established $350,000 or more book of business Duties and Responsibilities: · Sell new accounts and renew existing ones in keeping with agency and individual goals while building relationships with clients;· Identify and solicit sales prospects from various sources providedvby agency, by cold calls and phone contacts;· Develop information and recommendations for prospective accounts, present proposals and adhere to agency policies and procedures for writing a new account;· Maintain a concern for timeliness and completeness when interacting with customers, as well as agency staff, to minimize potential for error and omission claims. Qualifications: · 7 years property casualty/employee benefits sales experience;· 2-year or 4-year degree preferred;· Strong sales aptitude;· Willingness to make prospecting calls and network to develop new business;· Exceptional customer service skills;· Disciplined, well organized, and self-motivated person;· Strong reading comprehension and analysis skills;· Strong written and oral communication skills;· Strong organization and follow up skills;· Willingness and ability to travel independently to client and prospect meetings on a regular basis;· Active CA Insurance License.
