Production Cleaning Technician

What We’re Looking For
As a Production Area Cleaning Technician at PCCA, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment within the Production Department. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the cleanliness of the production area and equipment, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations, departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and maintaining accurate documentation.

What You Will Do
• Execute cleaning tasks in the production area, following GMP regulations, departmental SOPs, OSHA safety standards, and PCCA Policies to ensure a clean and sanitary environment.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of production equipment, tools, and work surfaces, using approved cleaning agents and following established protocols.
• Clean spills, debris, and waste promptly to maintain a hazard-free work environment, taking necessary precautions to prevent cross-contamination.
• Follow proper waste disposal procedures, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and departmental guidelines.
• Inspect and report any maintenance or repair needs for equipment and facilities to the appropriate personnel, contributing to the overall maintenance of a safe and functional production area.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required during cleaning activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of cleaning activities, including cleaning logs, checklists, and records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure minimal disruption to production activities.
• Assist in the organization and storage of cleaning supplies, ensuring availability and proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents.
• Participate in training programs and stay updated on GMP regulations, SOPs, and safety procedures related to cleaning activities.
• Undertake any additional duties or instructions as required.

Who You Are
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Basic understanding of GMP regulations and the ability to follow SOPs and safety protocols.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving equipment, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with team members to meet cleaning objectives.
• Capable of working with chemicals and cleaning solutions used in a typical cleanroom environment.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks based on production needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to report issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation purposes.
