What We're Looking For
Base Production Technician II will control equipment systems that process chemical substances into specified products while monitoring the production process and ensuring efficiency of systems and equipment.
What You Will Do
• Verify that documents and components are accurate and identical
• Follow written instruction on proper gowning, balance calibration, equipment operation and work order direction, and ensure that all data is documented accurately
• Prepare the base room for production
• Collect and retain sample(s) according to specific instructions on the master batch record
• Document on the work order all packaging and raw materials consumed in the base production process
• Retrieve specific gravity data and create identification labels when necessary according to our defined process
• Make certain all required equipment is functional prior to next day production and equipment repair request is submitted immediately once a malfunction is identified
• Confirm all next day production project is validated
• Maintain inventory accuracy by submitting an inventory adjustment request for all materials and components needed
• Assist with related special projects, as required
Who You Are
• Prior experience in pharmaceuticals or a machine shop or production environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Intermediate level numerical and math skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently in 10 hours a day
• Ability to push/slide and pull pallets using a pallet jack
• Intermediate Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Must be detail oriented
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Entry-level computer skills
• Ability to operate multiple machines
• Self-Motivated
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to multi-task
