Job Overview
As a qualified healthcare provider, your role is to provide quality clinical supports and supervision within the assigned Division.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AFTER SCHOOL HOURS
Responsibilities and Duties
Develop internships, job training experiences, and social/recreational experiences based on the interest profile of assigned students
Facilitate person-centered planning as part of the development of a comprehensive transition plan for students 14-21
Develop skill acquisition plans and work cooperatively with behavioral support team to create plans that address identified needs in the community
Assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their support staff, either directly or indirectly, to find meaningful, lasting connections in their own neighborhoods
Complete required paperwork (i.e., quarterlies, written plans) in a timely manner
Complete other limited duties, as necessary for the Clinical Director, to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the company
To be successful in this role, a Bachelor’s degree is preferred in Social Work, Rehab, Counseling, Psychology, Speech, Education or related field, plus have taken the 40 hour RBT training. (training can be taken in first month). You motivate and influence others. You are an excellent listener and problem solver who writes well. You can impart information clearly and succinctly. You have some fluency using technology. You should have reliable transportation and be able to after hours. Some day hours may be available. You’ll also need to be fingerprinted as required by NYSED.

We are in 50 districts across Long Island. Cases are available in Nassau and Suffolk Counties and are delivered in person (not remote).
