PB Schools is Hiring a Curriculum Program Director Near Beach, FL

Job description

We are searching for a Program Director for our West Palm Beach site. Our program director is responsible for training teachers to implement best practices in their classroom, ensuring continuous implementation of curriculum throughout the day, overseeing our school age program, scheduling events, maintaining Health Department, ELC, VPK, and APPLE rules, regulations and standards. This position requires you to work closely with the Operational Director of the preschool.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current Florida Director's Credential VPK endorsed
  • VPK Literacy requirements met or in process
  • Willing and able to drive a school age van/small bus
  • Knowledge of Developmentally Appropriate Practices Birth-5 yr
  • Desire of maintaining a standard of excellence in Early Childhood Education
  • Willing and Able to work until 6pm
  • Good Time Management and organizational skill
  • Desire to continually grow and self-improve
  • An aligned belief with our company Vision, Mission, Philosophy, Goals, and Core Values

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $46,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-6:15 pm 

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay and continuing education

Knowledge in CLASS Assessment, Frog Street Curriculum, Conscious Discipline, and VPK requirements preferred but not required

Must be willing to be a back up driver of a van/small bus to pick up school age children from school?

Experience:

  • Early Childhood Teaching: 3 year (Required)

Language:

  • Bilingual English and Spanish (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Florida Director's AND Staff Credential (Required)
