Meet our team You will be joining AI/Model Risk Management Team within Enterprise Financial Risk Oversight unit, focusing on, but not limited to, independent quantitative model validation of high impact AI/models used firmwide. You will play a critical role in ensuring best in class model development, safe adoption and responsible uses, following regulatory guidance/requirements and best industry practices.

This is an entry level position.

You will help identify enhancement opportunities through model validation, communicate to model owners and developers, and ensure timely remediation. Your work will help ensure compliance with requirements from various regulatory agencies and external audits, proper capital allocation and management for our company, better customer services.

Your day to day

In your day to day role you will

• Support the lead in providing oversight of high-impact statistical models and AI applications in various business functional areas, focusing on but not limited to transaction and credit loss forecast, treasury and prudential risk models
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative model validation in line with internal Model Risk Management Policy and industry standard to identify and report issues arising from model data, model design and model use, provide subject-matter expert opinion on model enhancement
• Collaborate with business units and model developers to ensure model issues are agreed and remediated timely

What do you need to bring-

This position requires the curiosity and ability to learn various advanced modeling techniques, covering a broader business function. This role also requires candidate to have the capability in building effective relationship with stakeholders from various teams such as data science, business, finance, accounting, treasury, audit.

• An advanced degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, econometrics, finance, mathematics, computer science, data science
• 0-3 years experience preferred
• Basic accounting, finance, prudential risk knowledge
• Advanced Python and SQL coding skills in dealing with big data
• Advanced knowledge of statistical and machine learning models (e.g., logistic regression, time series, random forests, SVMs, XGBoost, CNNs/RNNs)
• Relevant modeling experience in credit scoring, loss forecasting, stress testing, treasury, obtained either in academic or

financial industry

• Solid understanding of macroeconomics in relation to the models
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment and deliver timely
• Ability to communicate and present effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders at various levels
• Ability to maintain technical documentation of AI/ML model development and validation
